Repairs

Carrying out repairs can be some what challenging as it's essential to maintain it's originality, especially when it comes to Antiques. Chris is an expert in matching up timbers and fillers so that even before any stain or polish is applied, you probably couldn't see where the repair was.

Stripping

Paint stripping is generally done by hand using a heavy duty stripper, methylene chloride.
This process will remove up to 90% of the old finish and guarantees no damage to the timber. All that would remain is sanding to prepare the timber for finishing.

Sanding
